Good Food, Decent Prices, Theme Chain Restaurant. Cody’s is a chain and, as such, doesn’t have a lot of leeway in the originality department, even if they use the word in their name. But, notwithstanding, overall their food is good and their prices are fair.<br/ <br/ The dining rooms are crowded and noisy. And one of their trademarks is a bucket of unshelled peanuts, for which you are supposed to throw your shells on the floot. Be prepared for that. Good 'Road House ' Fare, And HUGE Portions!. My group all developed a craving for 'good, old fashioned hamburgers ' on the same evening and decided to give Cody 's our first try. We learned that this is a Regional Chain, but were also told it 's a very good one. We were seated almost immediately even though there was a full parking lot and a crowded dining room. Always good, not great, but I haven't had any exceptionally bad experiences. The staff has all been there for a long time and we find that comforting, they make mistakes from time to time but they are quick to fix them. We always go back. Never had a problem with service, never had too big of a problem with food. Fried green tomatoes are awesome! 1/2 price appetizers at the bar.
Great food!. Their food is great!! I am not a fan of the peanut shells everywhere, but I am willing to deal with it because I know we will have a great meal. My family and I have been here several times, and we have never had a bad meal, it's great!! I get the filet and lobster tail, and it is always cooked perfect. The rolls are also my favorite. GREAT FOOD GREAT DIVE. Cody's is a GREAT DIVE SPOT, dont expect first class dining but expect good quality, and big portions. Wednesday night 2 for 1 fajitas are AWESOME .... Beer specials and more.<br/ <br/ Salad isnt very good , but the rolls and butter sure are (dont eat too many or you will get fat)
I love Cody's! They have yummy all-you-can-eat salads and rolls but my favorite would have to be the ribs which are fall off the bone tender. I also love going there with my bf on wednesday night when the fajitas are buy 1 get 1 free!! Amazing!!
Great food. Had 1/2 chicken and ribs, food was very hot and arrived fast. Salad and yeast rolls were excellent. Good server and cold beer. Will definitely go back.
