When we arrived, we waited at least 10 minutes for a waitress to come out of the back to seat us. She took our pizza order, and we ended up waiting almost an hour for it. When she finally came back, she informed us that they were backed up. When the pizza arrived, it was a charred, dried-out mess that resembled cardboard with a bit of sauce on top. The waitress seemed to know it looked unappetizing; she placed it on our table and offered a brief apology but didn't check back with us afterward. We only saw her again when she dropped the check on our table, clearly avoiding asking how our meal was.

We dined at Colarusso's twice over the weekend, and both experiences were quite enjoyable. The service was definitely a highlight. The dining room is warm and inviting. I intend to make this a regular spot...
