This is my local ColdStone, and I really appreciate having it available for those occasional sweet cravings! Yes, this particular location is staffed by teenagers. Since this is likely a part-time or seasonal job for them, I don’t expect 16 to 18-year-olds to provide five-star service without any mistakes. Sometimes it's clear that this is their first job, and that’s perfectly fine! We should all remember that these young employees are learning on the job and gaining valuable experience. That said, I’ve had friendly service here. They’ve always been willing to accommodate requests or correct any errors. My family and I typically visit this Cold Stone location, but last week I sent my husband to pick up my usual Coffee Lover ice cream. As I sit here tasting it while writing this review, I'm disappointed to find that there are no toppings in it. I was expecting almonds and Heath bar pieces, but all I got was plain coffee ice cream. It's no surprise that my husband called me while he was ordering to ask what I wanted in my Coffee Lover. The staff should already know how to make a Coffee Lover ice cream since it's clearly listed on their menu!
I bought family size Mud Pie Mojo couple days ago city of Walnut location. Unfortunately, it was THE Worst experience we?ve ever had from Cold Stone. Everyone in my family loved this flavor. But not this time. We could barely find cookies, nuts,peanut butter and even chocolate syrup that are supposed to be mixed with the coffee ice cream. In stead of having Mud PieMojo, we just had $25 of coffee ice cream with very very light coffee taste. Guess what, found other location sells same sizewith $10 cheaper!! And it tasted wonderful!
The customer service here is amazing, they always serve with a smile and it never feels rushed. The ice cream was so delicious and sweet. I was able to get the last of the 'Deck the halls with Fudge and Sprinkle ' which looked and tasted amazing. It was abit heavy on the chocolate but that was ok. Overall the place is amazing and I rate 5 stars based on how friendly and clean theplace is. The food is cold and delicious. I don 't feel rushed or have to wait for service.

My husband and I went for the first time on 10/15. Paid cash and was shorted $1.00 of my change. I have been trying to get my $1.00 for 3 days of calling but no one there is in charge? The owner was texted my number and has ignored the issue. It's not the money as much as principle that no one knows how to count back change. The employees just hand you a bunch of bills/ change with no clue what they are giving you? I will never return to such a shady establishment.
Great service! I wanted to buy an ice cream cake and also enjoy my small ice cream. The employee said she would put the ice cream cake in the back so no one else would purchase it because I had already paid for it. There was no one there when I wentso I was able to enjoy my ice cream then take the cake when I was done, very helpful!
Cheesecake Fantasy is my favorite dessert spot! I recommend ordering the "Gotta Have It" size and sharing it with a friend. Plus, Costco offers discounted digital gift certificates, which is a great bonus!
