I usually have a pleasant experience here but today I was shocked by how my friend and I were treated. Every time I happen to pass by Colectivo, I see people sitting on the outdoor patio with their dogs so I thought that today, I would bring my pug for the first time. My friend and I had brought a drink from earlier at Starbucks to run errands with and we were meaning to purchase an item from here as well, which is the whole reason why we came, but we got caught up in conversation as we sat down outdoors. The new male manager has turned us off from coming here ever again, and we’ve been coming to this location for over 2 years. We’ve been to Colectivo locations in Madison, Milwaukee, and Chicago, and this is by far the worst location.The manager is incredibly rude and, as a result, the entire staff is now extremely comfortable being hostile to customers. Service industry work can be draining, but openly complaining about customers right behind the register is not okay, and the complaints are about basic orders, not even problem behavior. My wife and I visited this restaurant after hearing many great things about it, and we were not disappointed. The experience was truly wonderful. The manager, Trevor, was exceptionally kind and helpful, offering us fantastic recommendations. We also loved the atmosphere of the place. The staff was courteous and attentive, which made our visit even more enjoyable. I highly recommend checking it out if you're nearby!
I visited for the first time and overall, I was pleased with my experience. However, they had to make a new sandwich for me because they forgot the bacon. I mean, why would anyone order an avocado BLT without bacon? Additionally, I think they should add more bacon to the sandwich; there was hardly any, especially considering it costs $11.85 after tax. Just my two cents. Food rating: 3/5.

The manager at this location is notorious for being extremely rude. He confused my friend for another black man that he had reprimanded at the store, and when we pointed this out, he kicked us out of the coffee shop. Instead of apologizing, he chose to double down and punish us for his own mistake. I would never recommend the spot to anyone.
This location isn't one of their best. The spots in Milwaukee are far more inviting. I ordered a hibiscus lemonade called "Summer Gala," but I saw them pouring Florida's Natural lemonade into my drink. It certainly wasn't worth the $3.50. Food rating: 1/5.
Ordered a small brewed coffee and received (and was charged for) a medium cold brew. The coffee itself is good but not worth almost $5 after tax. That said, lots of seating and outlets making it good for working. Nice atmosphere and staff, just overpriced.
A nice coffee shop, coffee isn’t bad nor was it amazingly out of this world. My only problem is their internet kicks you off every 60 minutes and you have to reconnect, besides that it has a nice ambience to work at.Food: 5/5
