I was quite impressed with the restaurant's clean and nice atmosphere, but unfortunately, the food was lacking in flavor. During my first visit, I ordered beef empanadas, and they arrived cold and tasteless. There were also no buñuelos or pandebonos available. On my second visit, I tried the Colombian tamales, which came with white rice and an arepa. It was the worst meal I've ever had—the rice was undercooked and hard, while the tamale was bland, containing only a chicken thigh, two pieces of pork, and a slice of potato. I was so impressed with the place, it's nice clean but the food lacks flavor. The first time I ordered beef empanadas they where cold flavor less. Out of bunuelos pandebonos. Second time I ordered Colombian tamales came with white rice arepa. Itwas the worst food I have ever had. The rice was raw hard. Tamal was moshi bland with a chicken thigh, 2 pieces of pork aslice of potato. I didn't even finish eating half of the tamal had the worst stomach pain that send me running to thebathroom. Very disappointed... I definitely will not be coming back don't recommend this place.
Colombian Cafe is a very clean restaurant, and while the food was good, it didn't quite reach an excellent level. I deducted two stars for two reasons. First, we experienced a long wait for our food, and there were some mistakes with our order, likely due to a new employee and the size of our order. Second, I found the sancocho meat to be dry and lacking in flavor. Overall, I believe the food could benefit from a little extra seasoning. On the positive side, the staff was very friendly and the cleanliness of the place was commendable.

Amazing service! The food was truly delicious! I stopped by for lunch today and sampled the beef and chicken empanadas, which were fantastic. For my main dish, I had an avocado salad topped with steak, and everything was incredibly fresh. The steak was perfectly seasoned. The service was top-notch; they ensured I had everything I needed and that I was completely satisfied. Overall, my experience at the Colombian café was wonderful. I'm definitely planning to return with my family for dinner to try their new steak on a stone!
This restaurant is very clean and the food was just good not overly excellent. Two reasons why I took off two stars. One reason is because it took a long time to get our food and there were mistakes (due to a new employee and we did have a big order). Thesecond reason is because I felt their sancocho meat was dry and flavorless. In my opinion the food in general needs a tad bitmore flavoring. Other then that they were very friendly and clean.
I visited this morning for coffee and a light snack. The staff suggested I try a "buñuelo," and it was amazing! The coffee was excellent too; she steamed the milk perfectly and blended it with the coffee just right. The place was clean and well-maintained. I'm starting with a solid 5 stars! I plan to return for dinner with my family, and we'll see if it retains those 5 stars. So far, I can't say anything negative!
This place has the best Buenuelos outside of Colombia! The coffee is delicious as well. My next order will definitely include the Bandeja Paisa and a fish entree which I am sure will be produce another positive review!
