Disappointing food given the reputation of the restaurant. The service was very good, polite and attentive, however nobody could answer any questions about the wine, unlike many restaurants on Mallorca they wouldn’t offer a taste of the wine (except the house wine), but the waiter did go so far as to borrow a taste from a nearby table who kindly offered this after going to them to ask if they where enjoying a particular bottle we had selected. A wine lottery if you don’t know the list. We watched walk in after walk in get told they were fully booked and turned away, when there were many free tables. My friend and I was passing beside Colon restaurant which located in Portocolom and what attracted me is the outside view of it ,we decided to have dinner there , it was a special night we really enjoyed everything:meals,food,service, it is one of the best restaurant I recommend you to visit here in Mallorca Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
We can heartily recommend the Colon! You are always given a very warm welcome, the food is of the highest quality (the greeting from the kitchen is always a great surprise), the service is great and leaves nothing to be desired.
