Simple bar restaurant with excellent food (a little more polish and I would give it 5 stars). We had two meals here, travelling here from Comillas. The black pudding at 6 Euros was astonishingly good, sliced and fried, served simply with some fried onions. Plenty for two people to share. The highlight had to be the spaghetti with seafood (Sopa Seca Marinera at 16 Euros per person) served in a pan like paella. There was crab, scallops, prawns, clams, mussels and lots of delicate squid. All the seafood was excellent. We did our best to finish it and almost did. We were tempted to order it again on our second visit but settled for the fish of the day, which turned out to be some kind of Scorpio...
Looking for something different in San vicente de la barquera I find that one of the traditional premises of the villa, now serves some Peruvian specialties. neither short nor lazy, and in the face of my wife's initial reluctance, we decided to try the potato to the huancaine, the ceviche and the carpentry jumped.What is our surprise when we see the dishes coming, for the more than generous size of the rations, along with attentive, quick and affable service and a much more than reasonable price. no doubt an excellent choice and a place to go back later than later. Thank you very much for a very nice meal.
El Bar Colón está al lado del puerto de San Vicente de la Barquera, y siendo un pueblo marinero, no podía faltar probar una tabla de mariscos y pescados, que ofertaban por 24€, incluyendo la bebida (agua o vino). En general todo estaba bastante rico, y aunque no teniamos demasiada hambre, nos lo comimos todo. A parte de la tabla de mar, también hay menú del día y muchas raciones, que suele ser lo más habitual a pedir en este restaurante. Me pareció una buena opción para comer en San Vicente de la Barquera, en un entorno de lo más clásico.
Entre toda la gran variedad de tapas que puede haber en este lugar, sin duda, las que resultan mas atractiva son las de sus sardinas, rabas y sulas (pescaíto frito), o sus brochetas de sepia, realmente son un motivo para venir a este lugar y así pasar el tiempo con sus amistades o familiares, y si el tiempo lo permite podrá disfrutar de su terraza que es muy acogedora como el sitio. El bar Colón está situado en la localidad de San Vicente de la Barquera.
We went for a drink and to bite we ordered some bottles in vinegar. They were spectacular. the service is attentive, although it can be a heavy thing, as you are all the time wondering if you want anything else. the value-price ratio is very good.
a discovery in Sanvi, mix of Spanish and Peruvian food, rosi the friendly and helpful waitress has taken care of 10. excellent ceviche, and the best pie three milks we have tried after visiting countless Peruvian restaurants.
One of us is vegan and the stuff we’re amazing and made us some vegan options that were really good! The sea food was very fresh and super tasty. Highly recommended! Muy buenas platos veganas!!
Very friendly waitress. We ordered 4 dishes to share and this was more than enough! Very simple dishes ,but excellent taste! Sit at the back ,not at the street.It is quiter to enjoy!
Cantidad y calidad aceptables, pero solo eso... no destaca por nada en concreto y se ha dejado superar por otros establecimientos muy cercanos.
