They have Harp! Not something you find at every bar in Fredericksburg, so I love to come here and enjoy one or two (or more). The food is excellent, too, especially the Shepherd's Pie. I personally like the traditional kind, but they even have it in a vegetarian option! The staff are great and very friendly, plus the music is fantastic. This is probably the best place to hear live music in town. Love the Tav!
Visited The Tav and as always the service was top notch as was the food. Bartenders and the entire staff are always friendly, welcoming, and on-top of their game. We ordered the potatoes skins and spinach and artichoke dip and the dip was out of this world. Highly recommend for a chill time with family or friends. Will be back soon !
This was an awesome restaurant. The food was amazing and plentiful. The waitress was super nice. The french toast sundae was delicious. Prices are awesome for the amount of food. I would go again and again. The only thing I wish they would change was adding sweet tea to the menu.
Guinness on tap. Good music. This will be my new watering hole. Brian the bartender even poured the Guinness from the tap correctly. The uninitiated generally do not realize that it takes a few minutes to pour it from the tap correctly. This is a great “Real” bar. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
My wife and I had the chicken pot pie and the shepherd's pie. Both were great. Our server was extremely attentive and polite. Another customer ordered the pot roast and it looked delicious. I must have that when I come back.
Perfect comfy little pub, GREAT people (both service and patrons), all and all the best little Sunday Drive destination out for a pint and some food.
I love this place! The food, the staff, Thom and Kathy's open mic- everything. and btw their potato leek soup is better thanthe Kennedy Center's.
