I had an amazing dining experience at this restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious, and the staff was incredibly friendly. The prices were very reasonable as well. We went there yesterday, Sunday, August 7th, around 1 PM. I ordered the Sunday special, which included half a fried chicken and two sides for $13.99. I opted to upgrade my sides to premium selections for just an additional dollar, and everything on my plate was exceptional. The chicken was particularly flavorful. Our server was both kind and attentive, enhancing our visit even more. I highly recommend this restaurant if you're in the area!
We drove from Jerseyville and initially stopped at another restaurant, but unfortunately, they were out of the special we wanted. On our way home, we spotted the Colton's sign from the highway and decided to turn around to check it out. We were pleasantly surprised! The food—steak and chicken/ribs—was cooked to perfection, the salad was incredibly fresh, and the fried pickles were delicious, all thanks to our amazing waitress. It’s not easy to find a great steakhouse, but Colton's truly impressed us. We will definitely be coming back!
I enjoyed a wonderful meal at Colton’s. It measures up to other chain steakhouses. My sirloin was cooked to a perfect medium rare, and the salad, sweet potato, peanuts, and bread were all delightful. The service was outstanding as well. My only critique would be the lighting, which was a bit too dim. While I prefer softer lighting, I would appreciate a bit more brightness to comfortably read the menu.

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The ambiance was delightful, and the staff were extremely friendly. Although there was a slight wait, it wasn't too lengthy. I ordered the NY strip steak cooked medium rare, paired with smashed potatoes and gravy, and a wedge salad. Everything was incredibly tasty!
