Underwhelming. Shareable appetizer are not enough to share. Strange entrees….. huge bone served with the ribs? Like a dinosaur bone in the plate for appearance? Burned chicken parm. When the waiter stopped by to see if everything was ok, someone said their food was “interesting”. He looked at him and turned his back and walked away. As the server came through again(on his way to another table) we flagged him down and asked about the burned chicken. He looked me right I. The eye and said”that’s the way it comes” and walked away. He didn’t check on the table…. Didn’t refill waters….. very strange experience. Won’t go back…….
Noah, our server, was very good. The drinks—Angel’s Envy Old Fashioned and Tito’s Cosmo—were solid, and the food—salmon, filet mignon cheesesteak, and deviled eggs—were good, too. So why did I only give CI 3 stars? Because of the flat, uninspired ambiance — the decor is dated, and we were seated in a row of cramped, small two-tops that appeared to have been installed half a century ago. There was no ability for a quiet, eyes-on-date-only type of experience in that setting.
Service was attentive. Ambiance in dining room is cozy and quiet. Bar was a bit louder and crowded. Patio looks well sheltered so you could eat out there in rain. Arrogant cauliflower and focaccia apps were tasty. Shellfish Cobb salad and 8 oz filet were excellent. Great cocktails. Worried what to wear for our first time visiting, and anything appears to be fine. Saw shorts and jeans and khakis, dresses and everything between.
The food is excellent. My daughter ordered the Steak Frittes and I had the seafood and rice. Both dinners were excellent. Service was a bit slow but I believe the server was stretched. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
The waiter was relaxed, took our time with drinks and appetizers. The menu selection was excellent, great flavors, portions and value.
Amazing dinner- crab and lobster portions were outstanding! This was a last minute decision- will go back.
Great value special for a quality meal. Potatoes weren’t ordinary were crispy. Excellent service.
