Without a doubt, this is the best Mexican food I've ever had in my life. We first discovered this restaurant through Uber Eats, where we ordered the Birria tacos and guacamole with chips. It was absolutely incredible—definitely a 10 out of 10! So, we decided to visit in person the next day. Let me tell you, enjoying the food on-site made it taste a million times better. The service was warm and welcoming, making you feel right at home, while the food had me dancing with joy. And the horchata... wow! I could go on about this place for hours. This is probably my fourth visit to Comal Y Canela. The food has been consistently excellent, a solid 5/5 every time. The atmosphere is cozy and reminiscent of a traditional Mexican home, both in decor and cuisine. Their quesadilla is authentic and delicious at first, though it gets a bit ordinary after a few bites. The music is great, the staff are friendly, and the service is good. Parking can be a bit tricky, but I’d definitely come back for more. It's a charming spot.
I had always wanted to try Comal Y Canela and I'm glad I finally did. I ordered the Birria tacos for lunch, and they were delicious. The consomme could have had a bit more flavor, but it was still enjoyable. I appreciated that they provided two types of hot sauces, red and green, along with some chips to snack on while waiting. The atmosphere was lovely, and the service was outstanding. I’ll definitely be returning.
This is hands down the best Mexican food I've had in Toronto. I lived in California a bit and have long been looking for Mexican food in Toronto that could compare and this is the only one. This is not one of those gentrified hipster joints. The food isamazing (got the Burria tacos), well priced, and friendly staff!

Wow! I’ve found my new favorite taco spot. The portions are so generous that we couldn't sample all the flavors we wanted! The snout-to-tail pork taco was absolutely delicious. The service was the friendliest I've experienced at any restaurant in Toronto; they truly went above and beyond!
I really enjoyed my visit to Comal Y Canela, and the staff were wonderful. However, the main dish I ordered was a little too sweet for my taste, but that's just my personal opinion. Additionally, the prices on the menu tend to be a bit on the higher side.
The food is ok, but I was expecting better for the price. $15.30 for chunky guacamole was was a complete wate of money. The guacamole was so small but they do give a lot of tortilla chips. Price to portion not equal. Average food at best.
Seem like Authentic Mexican. Very good taco. Very tasty dipping sauce. Burritos was huge but not super special. Same for platter. The place is small but very busy. Lots of people doing takeout.

The most flavourful, authentic Mexican food I have ever had outside of Mexico. We had birria taco, burrito and quesadilla. Everything was amazing and portion size was good. Must try
Great food, super french and tasty. Lovely little spot with great ambiance and dedicated staff. Worth the trip from the airport if on a layover.
