I would like to note that this review is about the airport location of the restaurant. I absolutely love the Dearborn location, so I was disappointed to only give this review two stars. The matcha I ordered was decent, but I had originally wanted a latte. The baristas seemed to be either trying to rush through orders to keep up with the busy environment or they were not knowledgeable about coffee-making practices. I witnessed them free pouring pre-pulled shots from a milk steaming pitcher, which is a big no-no for anyone who appreciates and understands espresso. The café offers excellent coffee and other beverages, with friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere complemented by ambient music. The store is tidy, with reliable WiFi and a diverse collection of board and card games. It appears to be a popular spot for college students studying health-related fields, as well as young professionals in their 20s and 30s. Freshly brewed coffee is available for dine-in or to-go in freshly roasted bags. One critique is the use of single-use plastics and paper products, which could be improved by using reusable glasses, mugs, and plates. Overall, a great place to study and socialize. I highly recommend it.
Stopped by Common Grace Coffee Company and grabbed a coffee to go. So glad Dearborn, MI has a local coffee roaster! Also picked up the Mario sandwich, which was super tasty. Our staff often grabs coffee or tea from here, and appreciates the reliable quality and service. Abbe was working at the counter and while she was fast to help people with their orders, she was friendly, super helpful and made the entire visit awesome! The quality of the coffee at this restaurant is excellent, however, the establishment itself is quite dirty. It is in desperate need of a deep cleaning as there are coffee spills, spider webs near the windows, and coffee stains on the white walls. This is a great spot for studying or getting work done. The café is always filled with people on their laptops or in small study groups. The coffee is decent, nothing exceptional, but it's perfect for those long study sessions.
One of the best places for Sunday brunch, the coffee is great and the steak and potatoes were nice, little pricey but at least you are getting something good for it.
The food was absolutely delicious, I highly recommend it! The restaurant itself is adorable and perfect for Instagram photos.
