A childhood favorite! I enjoyed Community Bake Shop cakes for my birthday every year until I went off to college. My favorite was, and still is, the vanilla cake with vanilla frosting. There's something unique in their batter and frosting that gives it a special flavor. I wish I had pictures from my childhood parties to share, as the decorations were always whimsical, but unfortunately, I don't. However, I do recall a few cakes, like the Bert and Ernie cake, a clown cake, and a Barney cake. Those are such sweet memories!
I was awarded $200 gift certificates at the NEPA Bridal Expo on Jan.18,2015. When I called the Community Bake Shop to redeem it, I was refused the right to use all $200. I was told there was a mistake and only $50 per bride could be redeemed. From my point of view, this is horrible business! It was not my mistake, therefore I should not be penalized. Community Bake Shop should do the right thing and uphold my winnings. I will never recommend this business
My wife and I got married in 2013 and a cake from Community Bake Shop was included in the package. We did a consultation and tasting and knew we would be happy. Almond cake with cannoli filling. The cake was delicious and my wife loved how it looked.Since then we've ordered the same flavor several times for different events and everyone loves it. They are very easy to work with and offer delivery as well. I would highly recommend them.
I used this Shop last Christmas (2013) to send cookies to a business, wishing them Happy Holidays and thanks. They were delivered on time and enjoyed by all. Many comments on the quality and presentation of the cookie tray. They were delicious everyone exclaimed!!.. Just ordered again.I highly recommend this business, Karen is great....

Karen is incredible—so friendly and truly suited for this line of work. We're having her design our wedding cake and merging two cake designs into one. The samples we tried were delicious, and this place is incredibly accommodating.
Community Bakery made our wedding cake and it was both delicious and gorgeous!! We had gotten so many compliments about it! I wish I could post a picture. I highly recommend them, and will go to them in the future!!
