When I worked in West Hempstead, I frequently had lunch at this restaurant. The food was always great, thanks to Joe B and his brother, who offered daily specials. Their family has owned the business since the 1930s or 1940s, and you don't find places like that anymore.
I absolutely love this place! It's your friendly neighborhood tavern where everyone is familiar with one another. Dave, the bartender, is truly the backbone of the bar. Enjoy your visit!
