When I opened my meal and noticed the high price, I realized I needed to inquire whether prices had increased. I spent 15 minutes going back and forth with the gentleman about what my order should have been, and he finally stated he didn't want to argue and would simply remake my food. At that point, I had lost my appetite. I felt my time had been wasted, and our conversation escalated into a heated disagreement over what I allegedly said. I can't believe I'm actually writing this, but $45 for 4 tacos and a small plate of nachos is outrageous. They charge $7.50 for one taco, and the guy on the phone claimed I ordered Tex-Mex, which wasn’t even on the menu. He also said each taco had different prices, but the menu showed they were all the same price with an extra $1.75 charge for guacamole on each taco, which I was fine with. According to the menu, each taco shouldn’t have cost more than $6. Just be aware—they overcharge you and try to rip you off. The nachos were terrible too, just green sauce and sliced meat for $18. I’ve never paid more than $5 for a taco in Manhattan, and this is in the middle of Queens.
Compadres is a true hidden gem! We gave it a shot on a whim, and I’m really glad we did. The nachos and burritos are outstanding, and I recently tried the burrito bowl, which was equally delicious. Everything tastes incredibly fresh! This was my second visit, and I have to applaud the wonderful staff and fantastic food.
I ordered the chicken flute, tacos de carnitas with cilantro and onion, and a horchata drink. I have to say, everything was amazing! I truly appreciate the quality of the food and will definitely save the number to order again! My photos don’t quite do the meal justice, but trust me, it’s absolutely delicious!

I ordered a beef burrito bowl and chicken soup, but unfortunately, it made me feel unwell. The chicken soup was the blandest dish I've ever had. Additionally, there was something in the burrito bowl that was clearly not fresh. Although the delivery was quick, I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant.
I believe they truly serve authentic Mexican cuisine. My all-time favorite dish is their Supreme Nachos. Their tacos are also excellent. I've visited this restaurant many times and have never been disappointed. They definitely deserve a 5-star rating!
I’m going to have to pass on Compadres. The prices on the menu were surprisingly high without justification, and the food fell short of expectations. The coffee lacked strength too. Overall, Compadres is a spot I would recommend avoiding.
The food is quite good. While some prices are comparable to other places, I felt the guacamole and chips I ordered were overpriced for the portion size; they added about $9 to my bill. Other than the price, everything was decent.

We really enjoy the food at this place. Every dish is delicious and satisfying. It's one of our go-to restaurants. The staff is welcoming and attentive to our needs.
