The menu offered a wide range of options from shrimp to hamburgers. The options pleased everyone from those who want simple fare to those who want an interesting sauce or side. Service was good food came quickly, and glasses were topped of, and water refilled. There was no AC, so sidewalk dinning was a great option. Just be aware people can smoke when dining outside the smoke was not an issue until near the end of the meal. No one rushes you along but the desire to linger over desert and drinks was diminished with the smoke.
A very acceptable lunch here. We both had the plat du jour which was very good, followed by dessert. Decent service and the terrace was just about warm enough. With two glasses of wine the bill came to 70 euros. A good option if you haven’t made an advance reservation in the area (we tried a few places beforehand which were all full quite a few places are closed on Sundays and Mondays for that matter). Would recommend.
If you are in La Croix Rousse, Lyon, there are tons of better restaurants than this one. The service is unpleasant and the food is mediocre. It is not very expensive but you would expect a better quality for the price. Go to la mère Suzette, Origo, Pailleron, Substrat, Le Canut et les Gones, even Café de la Soie or Le Comptoir du Vin. But avoid this place.
this restaurant offers a young and very friendly bistro atmosphere. customers and service are united: relaxed. However, the service is pro and attentive. The kitchen is good and mixes very classic dishes (burgers, sauerkraut) and less classic ( tatami tea). It's all right. offer you a good time at the simone counter

We found this lovely bistro restaurant by chance after a steep climb to the old town. Great and welcoming service. The main courses we had were delicious and well presented. My desert was to die for! I would certainly recommend.
The serving staff were lovely, but seemed stressed and super busy all evening, which changed the atmosphere of the place. We sat outside to eat, which was nice, but overall the food and experience was just pretty average.
Le restaurant est bien placé, le service est rapide, souriant et très efficace, les plats sont bons et copieux. Mention spéciale pour la salade d'ananas à la menthe. Je recommande.
