Not difficult to get a reservation, although the place definitely was moderately full and they have different specials every night, they really only have very limited supply of orders for a special for instance on Sunday, it is a fried chicken, that they only by about 12 to 14 of, so if you want to get the special generally you need to come early. We got the cod and salmon. They have essentially the catch of the day that you can grill or have an herb oil or encrusted. The salmon was about $49 and the cod was about $40. Was craving clam chowder and a lobster roll and they did not disappoint! Clam chowder was delicious. The lobster roll was FULL of meaty fresh pieces of lobster. Unlike other seafood restaurants they ACTUALLY loaded the roll with lobster meat which was a pleasant surprise especially given the price you pay for one of these so it was well worth it. Service was friendly they gave out dog treats to my pup. They have a nice covered outdoor patio so you can bring your dog and it doesn't smell fishy! This place has quality seafood!
Fantastic place. I can't believe I waited so long to go. It's the only place I know of in LA where you can get true steamers (soft shells/long necks). I had the sea urchin appetizer live and cracked to order. The presentation was amazing and obviously it couldn't have been any fresher. And the clams my God. Plump, fresh, and made in a delicious broth. I had to talk myself out of ordering a second plate. The service was great very friendly and helpful. I can't wait to go back.
I love Connie and Ted's. I'd come here more often if I could. Most recently, I treated my friend here for her birthday. I had a half dozen oysters, fried clams, and a side of the mac and cheese. She had the New England clam chowder and a crab cake which came with cole slaw. Everything was wonderful and our server Vince was very nice. The only thing I don't like about Connie and Ted's is the fact that valet parking is $17 during lunch!! Luckily, we found street parking.

I come here often and I always have a good time. The service is always friendly and they always make me feel like I'm at home. The ambiance is nice and clean. The food is where it's at. They always serve the freshest fish and the taste of the fish speaks for itself. Plain and simple. No need for heavy sauces to mask the flavor of the fish. Also can't leave without ending the meal with the blonde desert. Definitely recommend checking this place out if you're around.
A tough review to leave bc this isn't directly the restaurant's fault. I ordered delivery through Grubhub. The quality of the food was great but the order itself was never marked as delivered. It sat outside getting cold until I called Grubhub Support. You may want to consider partnering with another delivery service that is ready to offer the level of service that matches your outstanding food.
I ordered the hot lobster roll, oysters and herb crusted halibut. The food was amazing and everything tasted fresh. The lobster roll was star. The service was great and the waiter checked in regularly and was helpful explaining the menu. The food came out quickly so all around it was a great experience.
Awesome service from Johnny ! 10/10 on his recommendations... Can't say what was the best dish because from appetizers to desserts were just mouthwatering ! Oysters, clam chowders, lobster and crab omelette, lobster rolls, and the sashimi were just delicious This restaurant is a must try !

This place was fun to sit at and experience the ambience. We armrest fish and chips and a flight of the chowder ...... I highly recommend trying all the chowders.... They were delicious too
