Connies is a beloved local restaurant in the area that recently faced a setback due to a fire in August 2024. The community's dedication to restoring this iconic spot to its original glory is truly remarkable and commendable. I can't wait to return once the renovations are complete!
Stopped in for dessert. Had the banana split, which was awesome. They use real whipped cream. Saw some people getting milkshakes, and they were huge! They are cash only, but there is an ATM in the vestibule. Edit. Finally, I got one of the huge milkshakes, and it was awesome.
We absolutely adore Connie's! However, unfortunately, they experienced a fire a few months ago. Google Maps indicated that they were open, so it was very disappointing to arrive and find them still closed! It's clear that Google Maps needs to update their information.
Thought my vehicle had a working flux-capacitor, what a throwback, waitress even wear retro uniforms. Everything was fresh, from the toast, to the omlette, and the home fries were the best I've ever tasted.
I really wish they would offer gluten-free options like buns/bread. It's familiar and has good staples. Would love to see it change up a bit and for the mashed potatoes to be fresh and not boxed.
Eight o'clock at night, and this place is still busy.That tells you how good it is. Great atmosphere and quick service. Make sure you bring cash, they don't accept anything else.
I really miss Connie's! Do you have any information on when it will reopen? It was my favorite place to stop on Fridays.
We go for breakfast mostly. The homemade Soups are awesome! The wait staff are on point and friendly.
Connie's is one of the best family restaurants in our area.
