Very much looking forward to my first visit to my local bakery unfortunately I was greeted by half a dozen miserable looking teenagers behind the counter leaning on their elbows. Decided against buying any food as they were picking up the bread with their bare hands without washing first. One of the staff members had long painted acrylic nails on so obviously no food hygiene practices in place. Stuck to a coffee which was just warm milk with a hint of coffee. Won’t be going back in a hurry.
So it might be a long way to go for a cake from north of Liverpool but was it well worth it!. Amazing cakes and selection, the size of their Eccles cakes a thing of legend, I need to go back for one but they go fast. Good COVID set up and no drop in service or smiles. I dropped a box of cakes off to the top staff at NHS surgery over the road, had to be from Cookies or not having them... So if your passing go treat yourself but leave me an Eccles cake
this beautiful place is amazing. great cakes and cookies, they are delicious. they can also order for special occasions. they also sell broth products and sandwiches. the only side is parking. if they manage to get a place on the street, they have luck. there are parking spaces on the square, but this means just a short walk. the staff is friendly and helpful. in any case worth a visit!
Love this bakery, bought all out fresh bread from here during lockdown, lovely breakfast again invaluable during lock down after a night shift. My family and I use this bakery weekly. The staff at this restaurant are amazing - always cheerful and willing to help. The bread is delicious, and my children adore the cakes. The young girls working on Saturdays are always full of energy and positivity, bringing a smile to your face.
I recently discovered this charming bakery and snack bar, and I was impressed by the friendly service. The brie, bacon, and salad roll that I purchased was not only massive but also incredibly delicious, with generous portions of fillings.
Recently had some cookies cakes smuggled up by Mrs Raven at the surgery....carrot cake was utterly amazing. Thanks Guys, so when in Raunds go stop off at this amazing place. I'll be back ....promise.
Pop down for a cream cake every now and then, bread is freshly made as are the cakes but I just wish there bread slicer did thick slices if it does I've never been asked) Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
I was greeted by cheerful teenagers when I entered the restaurant. The service and food were fantastic. I will definitely be visiting again.
