We decided to try out this restaurant for dinner. The immediate issues were the stickiness of the floors and the messiness of the bathrooms. There was little soap and nothing to dry your hands with.Our service was fair--our waitress getting us everything we asked for. Also the drinks came large albeit filled to the brim with ice. For that, I give back the 1 star.When the meal came, the large catch and the small catch were the same size, but priced VERY differently. The boils themselves were also incredibly salty. What a rip off! I am never going to this restaurant again! The food portions are small for what they charge. A large lemonade drink cup is filled with 95% ice. When I brought it to the waitress’s attention her response was I have to charge you for another drink. Really? When the 1st one only had ice!! Lastly when they give the check they tell you they are running a promotion for a 10% discount if you give them a good review. Talk about a bribe! Sorry you can keep your 10% because I won’t be returning!
I called to order for pick up they made me pay upfront then called me back 10 mins later saying that they don’t have what I ordered . I got something else instead and it looks disgusting . I called to see if they could help me she said to bring the food back and wait 3-5 days for a refund . Soo disappointed. I was really looking forward to trying their menu.The manager had an attitude the whole time . Horrible service overall.Im soo sad . I just wanted a lobster roll.
I was really disappointed with my meal today. I ordered the 6-piece fried shrimp platter, which came with mac and cheese and candied yams. By the time I received my food, it was cold. The four pieces of candied yams were drenched in syrup, and the mac and cheese had way too much sage in it. I definitely wouldn’t recommend eating here! The original restaurant didn’t taste like this at all. Who is cooking nowadays?

The lobster roll was excessively salty, making it difficult for me to finish. The lobster itself was overcooked as well. I live just a few minutes away, and the fries were served cold. The only highlight was the bun! I hope that my next order will be an improvement.
Just leaving Cook’s kitchen first time going here since the new renovation about six months now I only ordered shrimp and french fries it took almost 1520 minutes to get the Shrimp also dried up and over cooked and hard. Never again
First time at cooks. Heard good things about them. We ordered the lobster Mac and cheese. Very good. There is a wait so order in advance. Definitely worth the wait though.
The food was excellent! The Sautéed Shrimp Soul platter with yellow rice is not only delicious but also a healthy choice. If you're looking for extra sauce, just ask!

The driest Rasta Pasta I ever had. No flavor, just spicy. With 4 shrimp in it for $25. Very disappointed.
