Parent's perspective - Dad - great local beer choices! Mom - inventive hot dog toppings. We are a ketchup only kind of family, until now ... these creative combinations made us all stretch our hotdog horizons and we were all pleasantly surprised! The sausages are either pork or lamb and most of the food is locally sourced! They try their best! The wait is a bit long, but well worth it. On a sunny day there is no place better! In the rain there might be limited seating because it's mostly outdoor. The service was impeccable and we loved the dog's who call 'Cool Cats' their home! Kid's perspective - I'm usually a picky eater but after eating cool cats hotdogs my perspective on hotdogs changed!...
Service with a smile, both from the lovely waitress and the chef (you can see right into the kitchen when you order, nothing to hide here), tiny little shack decorated with taste and very welcoming. Lots of sitting outside, with comfy chairs and stools, ideal to watch people go by on an animated street. The concept has been thought through, original ideas and recipes. I had the avocado tartine and a side order of fries, with a sprinkle of fresh coriander. Perfectly toasted nice bread, avocado and lemon juice mixture, similar to guacamole I guess, cherry tomatoes, fried sweetcorn (so incredibly tasty)! Beautiful! I wish there was a little more vegetarian options personally, but that's just me...
We ate here a number of times on a recent stay in Chamonix (August 2017). It's one of the few places that offers the kind of casual food we look for: falafel and avocado - but is difficult to find in France. The fries could be better but it could have been the age of the oil. This part of Chamonix seems to be the spot for some atmosphere in the later afternoon / early evening - before everyone crashes early before another day in the hills.
The food is just delicious and very healthy! I took the Vietnam plate the lamb sausage was top ! Salad delicious and the dressing just awesome. The homemade Bellini strawberry was just a gift from heaven! I would recommend the place to everyone who loves food and who is in for a cosy night and super friendly service! Bravo !!!

Was dreaming of an American style snack without fat and OGM. Cool cats proposed to me an amazing Avocado Tartine with pulled pork I will remember for years. I enjoyed the informal terrasse with great live music and everything was made from local product. What else ? I definitely have to come back with the kids.
The place is really great for a gourmet hot dog and cool boutique beer! When we arrived there was even a small band playing covers for some hits...The hot dogs are really good, with some interesting toppings (which were tasty, but covered up the hot dog itself a bit too much to my taste).
A 30 minute wait was rewarded by smallish rather average sausages in buns smothered with chopped parsley, mentioned nowhere on the menu. And reviled by the entire family, unfortunately. A large, very unwelcome, dog wandered around begging for left-overs throughout.
Something different to traditional mountain food. Interesting hot dog options - Mexican hot dog was amazing (no sausage, but pulled pork - yummm). Friendly service and just great atmosphere. Definitely a place to go for some casual meal. Good value too.

Amazing hot dogs of various styles. I tried the Mexican version - can't eat another hotdog anywhere else again. Food is fantastic with a great atmosphere at the restaurant
Tasty (fast) food in a chilled atmosphere. A hot dog never seemed so appealing before. Good beer and a nice terrace to spend a casual summer evening.
