My husband and I had lunch around noon on October 9th, and we were pleasantly surprised to find the restaurant wasn't very busy, although it did get busier as we were leaving. We ordered the cornbread with jalapeños (it was tasty but crumbled when I spread butter on it), the chicken and waffles (which were absolutely delicious), and the meatloaf with string beans and bacon mac and cheese (good, though I wasn't a fan of the sauce on the meatloaf). Nate kindly took our drink order while our server, Lisa, was busy with another table. Lisa was fantastic—very attentive and engaging throughout our meal.
The service was truly exceptional, probably the best I've had in a long time. We ordered the spinach dip, chicken pasta, and chicken and waffles. The tortilla chips that came with the dip were fresh and crispy. The chicken pasta was both flavorful and generously portioned. The chicken and waffles were a standout dish, very savory and delightful. I don’t know what they use in their waffle batter, but it’s absolutely delicious! To top it all off, there was live music that added to the wonderful atmosphere. I really enjoyed the vibe, and we will definitely be back again.
This restaurant was just about four miles from my hotel, and the food and drinks were absolutely fantastic! It seemed like everyone at the bar was ordering Old Fashioneds. I opted for a Chardonnay this time, but I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in town to try an Old Fashioned. The meatloaf was so delicious that I couldn't finish it all! Everything was outstanding! You should definitely check it out—you'll love it! The bartenders added such a great atmosphere too!
My husband and I love this place. Went today for our anniversary after first coming a couple weeks ago for my birthday. We originally had Stanford Grill in Columbia around Xmas not realizing until recently that Copper Canyon was the same restaurant and less than 10 minutes from our house. I live close by and always thought about making the trip, but I'm glad to finally to review. Came on a Friday night for dinner service and waited 15 minutes to be seated. It was packed and seating was plentiful. Ambience was pleasant with soft music in the background. Service was excellent. Ordered apps, prime rib, and crab cakes. We entered the establishment to a 3 piece jazz ensemble. The wood finish under the defused lighting was really relaxing as well. I ordered the Rattlesnake Pasta. It was pretty good. The server was excellent. He was polite, courteous and attentive. Management made sure we were ok as well. All and all it was a good experience. Loved the ambiance and the food was delicious. The ribs were some of the best we have had and the crab cakes were well seasoned with little filler. The mac n cheese and calamari could have used a little more seasoning but were still pretty good. Our waiter Jamar was very personable and attentive and just all around amazing! Can?t wait to go back!
Food was really good. Atmosphere was very nice. Manager was super nice when we told her we found a tag in our dessert (we assumed it was a napkin tag or a chefs coat tag) we told her we just wanted to give the staff a heads up we didn't want anything because of it. She gave us a free dessert and took it off our bill.

Excellent food, waitstaff, and atmosphere. Fairly expensive, so not a regular place for most Americans these days, but highly recommended as a treat if you have the spare funds! Everything tastes fresh and homemade. The drinks are fantastic as well.
Iron Skillet Cornbread : It's ok it does have a hot pepper inside. Rattlesnake Pasta : I didn't take a picture not flavorful. The service was okay our waitress was great.
