We ate here with a group of friends spontaneously after a book launch at Readings only because there were no other tables available at Ti Amo and the waiter there recommended it. Apart from the terrible, techno music, the design of the restaurant is quite stylish. The menu was quite extensive and expensive. I am Italian and there were a lot of dishes that I have never seen in Italy. One of these was the chicken and mushroom risotto ~ which was utterly tasteless with no seasoning and glutinous, gluggy rice. Our other guests had the same experience with their risotto and pasta. Nice warm looking decor looked inviting on a cold night. First and last impressions do count though which is where this experience went downhill. Greeted by a young waiter who managed to make us feel like an inconvenience for not having booked despite it being a Sunday with plenty of tables. Food was OK and came promptly. Not much in the way of service during this. Then the biggest let-down ... We paid our bill and left without any staff offering a goodbye or thankyou. Inexcusable ... it is not as if we were a difficult table in any way.
My family and I enjoyed a great meal that we thought was terrific value. Enjoyed by all. Probably the best pasta dish I've had in ages (pork belly rigatoni), a great shared pizza and good value desserts. Mains, drinks and desserts for 4 for less than $130. We really enjoyed it.
Took a few friends here, we ate outside under the heaters without getting cold, waiters were friendly and attentive, we got pizzas and tapas to share and the food was delicious. The indoor decor looked great as well. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Very loud & cramp places to sit when there is a lot of people enjoying there delicious food. Large meals to eat. Very popular place for small & large groups. Lovely & warm on cold nights.
Had Dinner at the Copperwood last night after not being here in years.... Very well kept, clean and well maintained. Service was excellent, food absolutely terrific- highly recommended!
Had a wonderful dinner with friends, service was attentive but not invasive, food superb and filling for the reasonable price and a lovely atmosphere with divine decor.
