At the time, I was in Seattle visiting my family for my niece’s third birthday, which was a rare trip for us due to our financial limitations as disabled veterans. My husband explained that he had been so hungover that he didn’t fully grasp what was happening and initially thought it was all just some bizarre dream. Tragically, his aunt took advantage of his vulnerable state to not only cancel our wedding but also portray him as a heartbroken man dealing with a separation when he was just drunk and confused.

I am both shocked and appalled by the actions of this establishment during the current pandemic on the handling of BARBOUR NASH 100th BIRTHDAY PARTY. This business has severed all communications with the NASH family after a refund was requested due to the venue canceling the date of the 100th Birthday party of NASH BARBOUR which was scheduled during the current pandemic (COVID-19). I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for a wedding hall. The place is beautiful and the lakeside was everything we wanted. We ended up picking the coral house, and we would later come to regret the decision.1) The maître d’ was atrocious at her job. From picking fights with my family to “helping me with my dress” she almost seemed intentionally malicious while doing her job.2) they throughout my wedding veil that was hanging up in the bridal suite.That was a terrible surprise.3)This was the straw that broke the camel, they dropped about TWO TABLES worth of food and didn’t feed my guest sitting at those tables. I had my bottomless brunch engagement party here this past Saturday and it was amazing. Laurie, the banquet manager, was extremely helpful throughout this process. She helped with our budget and answered all our questions in depth, so that there was no confusion amongst us at any point. She was on top of everything and was very well organized. Even when we had last minute changes, she accommodated my fiancé and I. The food was delicious waffles, penne, chicken parm, and so were the drinks. I had my wedding at the Coral House this past September (2022) after postponing THREE times because of COVID-19, Laurie was SO helpful and really worked with us to make sure we could have our dream wedding. After all the anticipation and waiting for our special day, it went better than we could have ever imagined. The staff was courteous and helpful, they made sure the night went as scheduled. The little bit of food that my husband and I had was DELICIOUS and all of our guest are still talking about how good the food was and how the bartenders were on point! I would definitely recommend having an event at the Coral House.
