The drinks were really good, the food was excellent, the service was average at best. We had guests in our group who were gluten free our waitress had no idea what was ok for them when asked about appetizers. She was supposed to check never returned until after other guests at our table were almost done with the appetizer that they ordered. She then wasn’t sure about which entrees were gluten free had to return with someone else after taking our order. I even added that our group had gluten free guests when I made the reservation. The place is small inside so we were seated outside under a huge tent. Although it was cold and rainy, we were seated beside a heater that kept us surprisingly warm. The food was amazingly good (toffee cheesecake not pictured) and the entire staff were pleasant. Shockingly, another guest paid for our entire meal but wanted to remain anonymous (thank you over to whoever you are)! I would definitely go again the next time I visit Wilkes-Barre.
Good and service were very good, and deserves to be complimented. We chose to eat indoors because of humid, stormy weather. There was a large party near us which raised the noise level to a point where it affected our ability to converse and impeded the enjoyment of the meal. I think the location in an old house offers some charm but also limits what they can do with seating.
They turned OFF the LIGHTS on us as my party of still clearly seated, was harboring our put away boxes. We hadn’t paid our bill yet, awaiting our server ....nonetheless still tipped well. I was granted a dessert not of my choice for that inconvenience, after all birthdays do only come once. Didn’t eat it though, might have been spit in it. Just my blatant opinion

Hated the outdoor seating under the tent on blacktop. Food was only ok. Service was only ok... we were constantly out of water. Big fan of Friedman restaurants (like an every-weekend thing), but in no hurry to return to Cork.
Despite so many recommendations from others, dinner was nothing special. The short ribs were nothing more than dry pot roast. My husband barely choked down his chicken. Won’t be returning.
We went to Cork to celebrate Mother’s Day. We ate in their large tent outside, which felt very safe, and everyone really loved their meals. Great experience overall!
Excellent service great ambiance and a real gem in the middle of Wilkes-Barre.
