My mother and I just grabbed a quick bite before Christmas shopping in the area. I don’t usually write reviews but this man absolutely made our experience. I wish I remembered his name! we weren’t sure what we wanted and he was so helpful with our order! He knew the menu very well and “sold us” on what we were ordering. Not only did he help us with the order, but he came around and made sure everyone was doing well at their tables and offered to clear any extra plates or get to-go boxes. He had an incredibly welcoming personality and is the epitome of good work ethic. This is my secret spot to get away, enjoy a great croissant, a beautiful cinnamon roll, and a nice cup of fresh coffee. The croissant itself is a beautiful, light, buttery example of what a croissant should be. Fantastic lamination, golden coloring, and appropriate in size. They then take and split it open layering fresh sliced tomatoes, strips of bacon cooked just right, scrambled eggs, and cheese inside of it... creating a breakfast sandwich far superior to any fast food chain. We arrived this morning at 7:23 to grab some coffee and breakfast wraps. The restaurant wasn't particularly busy, so we placed our order and then waited... and waited... We ended up waiting around 20 minutes before finally receiving our food. I’m not quite sure why it took so long when there weren’t many customers. If we return, we might consider ordering online next time. On a positive note, the young woman at the register was really nice and friendly.
I rated this restaurant 3 stars because the food was enjoyable, and I really appreciated the service—until the end. That's when a woman I assume was the manager came out, and her rudeness seemed to stress out the staff. I felt anxious just trying to ask for a takeout container. I had a co worker recommend the Twisted Lemon Pie. Went to this location that sits in the parking lot in front of my building. Bravo! !! I can't explain how good this pie was to me. Fresh out the oven hot. Sweet and tart. Amazing. Super friendly staff. Love that I can throw a stone at this store. It is just that close.
food is still great, has both I door and outdoor seating. Mac and cheese is top notch, just ask them to leave off the bread crumbs if you preferred avoid some spicy heat I your Mac 'n cheese. still short handed for staff so may have to tidy up your own table after busy spells.
I thoroughly enjoyed the turkey club on sourdough bread and the Caesar salad. The atmosphere was very quiet, and the location in Perimeter is lovely. They also serve breakfast all day until 3:00 PM.
