Corner Bakery Cafe knows how to make a customer happy. So I called in an order on my way home from work, I pick it up and take it home. I sit down to eat and they gave me the wrong salad. So I drove back and told them and the manager was super apologetic. Then he asked 'would you like a cookie or something for the inconvenience? ' I said ' 'no I 'm ok mistakes happen don 't worry about it '. He grabs a container and comes back with a mini chocolate cake and said sorry over and over again. So good job corner on hiring some awesome staff. The manager working at this time is simply AMAZING.
I stopped in for lunch and ordered a Caesar salad with shrimp; this day the shrimp only cost $1 extra. When I walked back to pick up my order I actually thought the bowl sitting there was soup, because of the low content level. Much to my surprise the shrimp were plain straight from the refrigerator cold and just thrown on top. Well, the lemon bar was good and tasty ?
I've been to this location twice and both times Service has been very slow. First time didnt get to order cuz the line was moving so slow and had to leave after waiting in line for 10 mins. Second time waited over 15 min Just to get a bagel and cream cheese. Asked for to go and they put it for here, so some more delay there.
Every time we visit this restaurant, the food is consistently delicious, and it’s a great place to unwind. My favorite is the Pick 2 option; a half sandwich paired with a refreshing salad is always a perfect choice.
