what a beautiful fund, with the most beautiful people who serve you delicious and fabulous eat! all employees were attentive and made us very welcome. tables quirky and very clean, toilet facilities as clean and pleasant. the menu begins with a lush full breakfast or very generous sausage/bascon sandwiches, starting with a 10 o'clock opening. the menu had a good selection of light meals, cakes and snacks, i.e. rolls, victoria sandwich, brownies. the drinks were as beautiful, coffee really good, no weak affair here! hot chocolate the works of our 9 year old ninja thought was absolutely and perfect t. everything in everything, bring us back soon! we loved it, thanks.
Charming and cozy café with friendly service! Perfect for enjoying a variety of delicious hot and cold dishes (we indulged in the steak and kidney pie) and the wonderful jam and clotted cream scones, which are completely natural and only £3.25. There’s a great selection of hot drinks, including rich hot chocolate! Excellent value for money! The café is conveniently located right behind the pub, just over the bridge, but do note that it closes at 4:00 PM, so be sure to arrive early!
The restaurant offers a wide selection of fresh homemade cakes and scones at very affordable prices. There's also a great variety of drinks, both hot and cold. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, especially since we were a group of six and didn't have enough space for all of us. Our food was served quickly, and the staff made sure everything was in order, even though it was quite busy.
Absolutely delightful! Brilliant view of the castle (behind me in the snap I've posted) and caught the mid-morning sun! Delicious toasted teacake and scone, both of which were massive! Big pot of earl grey to finish it off. Lovely staff with good adherence to covid rules. Would highly recommend!

I received excellent service from the friendly staff at this restaurant. The location is fantastic, offering a view of the Helmsley Castle ruins. My caffe latte was perfect; if it weren't for the overly dry scone, I would easily give this place 5 stars.
Visited this lovely establishment today, thoroughly enjoyed our coffee and camomile tea with scones. The staff were so pleasant, friendly and accommodating. Thank you, we’ll certainly be returning
Been here a couple of times now in 2022. Love the location, super staff and love the Savoury and sweet platter. Nice fresh good at sensible prices. Highly recommended!!
Does a really nice Cajun Chicken sandwich and crisps with a non-obscured view of Helmsley Castle ruin. Some really nice shops just round the corner within arms reach.
