Well, in September on a Friday night you think you could find somewhere to eat around 7 pm. We were staying right near the Bastia/Poretta Airport and drove all along the Marina looking for somewhere to eat dinner. Not being picky, we just couldn't find anything open anymore. I don't know if it was late in the season and restaurants were closed already, or what. All we could find was bars. So we passed a very clean, new looking pizza food truck and decided let's just do this. Glad we did! This is a very nice pizza restaurant near the beach. The pizzas are made in a truck, however there is plenty of undercover tables and chairs. The pizzas were very nice, only slight negatives were that there was too much oregano/herbs, which was slightly overpowering and the pips hadn't been removed from the olives. Overall it was good and we would recommend it.
Very good reception by the boss and a young archaeologist so very nice. Nice restaurant, with a pizza card, pasta, grills made in front of your eyes on the giant glass barbecue, and gargantuesque Burgers. We were 4 friends and we drank and ate perfectly with efficient and warm service. Thank you very much. live La Rochelle soon I hope.
A truck not far way from the beach where we could easily park. Just try the Reine Blanche , one of the best pizza I have ever had in my life. To die for...
