I have been a loyal customer at The Cosh for a number of years, but I am extremely disappointed with the decline in customer service. Despite our reservation for 6.15pm, we waited half an hour for our order to be taken and did not receive our food until 7.20pm. During our meal, a waitress began clearing the table before we had all finished eating, only to leave halfway through and make us wait for another staff member to finish the job. We had to ask for a dessert menu and then wait another 10 minutes for our order to be taken. I have visited the Cosh bar and grill regularly over the years, there was a few issues with my previous visit (slow service dessert took that long we decided to leave) but decided to return as i do usually love it here. The service this time was atrocious staff are spending far too long gossiping and not attending to their customers. I couldn’t even get someone’s attention to get a drink, drinks order was wrong when it did arrive, when the food arrived it was cold and had to be sent back. The staff were also very unprofessional continuing conversations with each other whilst trying to take an order from our table and a smile wouldn’t go a miss! About 2/3 young girls were the only ones doing...
We usually visit this restaurant, but the service was not up to par this evening. Despite only having 2 tables occupied, our order was incorrect and a dish was forgotten. The staff did not ask if we wanted more drinks, cleared our plates without offering dessert menus, and we had to wait for half an hour for them. Two young girls seemed unhappy and ignored us while slouching about. We eventually got up and left, paid the bill at the bar. When we informed the lady at the bar about our experience, she expressed sympathy but it was clear that nothing would be done about it. Overall, we were disappointed with the lack of attention and checking on our table by the staff.
We went to the Cosh on boxing day for a lovely family meal. It had a real family atmosphere with football on all the screens.We had mains only which were all lovely. The salt and chilli chicken dish that I had was excellently flavoured with spices. The service was brilliant and fast. Wwe weren't waiting long at all. Marty and the team did a brilliant job. I stayed on for a few drinks with friends in the evening and Lauren provided us with table service throughout and made us feel very welcome. We will be back Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
My siblings and I live in New York and Leeds but when we return home to Buncrana we always visit sometimes twice in 1 week.The staff are so accomodating and friendly and nothing is a bother to them. My brother in law loves the steak pie and the salmon is also good.Dishes and very nicely garnished and service is very timely. Highly recommend
Attended a private function last night and Maolisa was amazing. She was so funny, professional and chatting to everyone. She really made our night! Everything from music, food and bar staff were top notch ! Pass on our thanks to Maolisa for us!
The food came out cold on chilled plates, but thankfully the sides and sauces were hot. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure customers were taken care of. It would be appreciated if the plates were warmed before serving the food.

Lately my family and i have been going to the cosh bar and grill Derry. The food and service are outstanding. The meals are reasonably priced, plenty on the plate and piping hot. Will gladly recommend it. AT55JDT
