Good selection of cakes drinks. Fast service friendly staff. Hand sanitiser at the door, tables well spaced out, sign on the door requesting you wear masks if only ordering a takeaway but you can remove if seated inside at a table eating drinking. Prices reduced to reflect VAT reduction for food/drinks in restaurants participating in the eat out to help out offer Mon Wed small late iced bun came to £1.97. Nice cool inside on a hot day especially after a walk in Burnham Beeches. Outdoor seating a bowl if you ask I filled with water from toilet tap for dogs if you are on your way back from a dog walk in Burnham Beeches.
A pity the staff were not as interested in their customers as they were in shutting on time. Arrived for a drink 30mins before closing and already over half the tables were closed off and customers forced into an ever smaller space to have their drinks. They were even reluctant to serve our drinks in glass/ceramic mugs preferring to serve all drinks in paper takeaway cups. I have had much better service at a motorway service area!
The usual Costa menu well served by pleasant staff. The restaurant is very dark and plants or flowers would help. However the outside is a total mess with uncleared cups and dishes,litter and cigarette butts on the floor. No attention is payed to this area and yet it is an important part of the experience. Many shops in the village have flower baskets or tubs outside and Costa should make more of an effort.
I stopped by for a quick coffee at this Costa branch and, although I don't typically review every Costa I visit, I wanted to give a shoutout to the fantastic customer service provided by the friendly team here. The place was spotlessly clean, all COVID-19 measures were in place, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Many thanks to everyone involved! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
I took my wife out for coffee and a sandwich and we received a very friendly welcome. The layout of the restaurant was quite different from our last visit, with half of the tables closed off. There was hand sanitizer available at the entrance. Despite the changes, the atmosphere was still pleasant and it was great to be back.
I tried one of their Christmas-themed coffees and it was delicious. My son had the cheese and tomato toastie, which he enjoyed. The shop was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The staff truly made my visit to this branch a pleasure.
Costa is a central part of village life. It can get busy and occasionally (I mean occasionally) tables may remain uncleared. However, the staff are incredibly friendly and make a great cup of coffee.
