Dirty Looking Costa Coffee shop on Gorleston High Street, no better inside,dingy and dirty looking, whole place looked like it needed a good clean, 9am on a weekday and dirty tables?? Unisex toilet stank of sewerage, awful awful smell as you opened the door, I'm male and used to work on building sites and have had better smelling portaloo's on sites than I had during my Costa Visit, can only agree with the recent reviews, can't imagine a worse Costa Coffee shop anywhere to be honest. Wouldn't go again if they were giving their coffee away for feel, walked out feeling dirty and sick from the smelly toilet and it cost £15 for the whole unpleasant experience!!!
I went to the restaurant on a Saturday afternoon. It was not very busy, and there were many staff members present, but they seemed to be more focused on chatting behind the counter. Initially, the staff were friendly and attentive, but most of the tables were dirty and in need of clearing. This gave the impression that the cafe was not well-maintained. Overall, it was a disappointment.
I ordered an iced mocha and it was really dark and it tasted very powdery. I asked if it could be made again or if it was the right drink and they pretty much told me to go away. Disgusted and would recommend you never go there:

We visited Costa at Gorleston this morning 4th August for coffee and cake,the two members of staff who served us were very polite and friendly, a credit to your company 10 out of 10
The staff here are great always smiling and friendly . Recommend the banana and pecan loaf which is a new arrival it is delicious . I look forward to my weekly treat here
The customer service at this restaurant is extremely disappointing. The staff are rude and shout when you try to address any issues. My experience was horrible.

Who can resist pink hot chocolate not me... didn’t have cream and sprinkles . Lovely fruity hot chocolate my new favourite drink .
