Firstly, the staff are lovely and try their best….but…. On all occasions I have visited there is not enough staff to serve in a decent time, maintain cleanliness and hygiene or keep tables clear. I waited for approx 22mins for 4 people to be served in front of me, I’ve been to a number of Costa’s in much busier areas and never waited this long. Between arrival and leaving the sink tap remained constantly running. This has been the same on each visit, and is not just a lost cost but such an incredible waste of water. The ‘kitchen’ area is filthy, as well as the general daily mess that doesn’t appear to be dealt with as you work it also appears a thorough clean is required of the walls, units,...
Extremely rude absolutely no customer service skills. 9/2/21 popped in for a coffee. Had my mask on but had to take it off to pay via my phone. I got “ put your mask on” I said “I will, but need to pay via my phone. This carried on, 3 times each time the rude rude man got worse. I eventually was allowed to pay, left there feeling really let down. I went outside to wait for my niece to go get her coffee, only one in @a time. Same sever, just as rude actually told her, NO Face ID pay????? Really really shocking service. I personally don’t carry my cards because I don’t want to touch the machines. So only pay via apple. He needs to be taught how to use his customer skills correctly.....or taugh...
Popped in for a coffee whilst passing through Verwood. understaffed as are many of these places. Manager really not helpful, the way he spoke to the staff was appalling, whilst not appearing to be actually helping them! Really no need! Dirty tables and serving area just generally unkempt. Lots of things unavailable, surely food and drink should be ordered in accordingly. Verwood is a small place and there are other options for food and drink, would advise visiting one of them instead. I know it’s just a chain coffee shop but you don’t want to leave generally feeling grubby and unwanted.
I recently visited the Costa Verwood store and received outstanding customer service. I was served by a delightful young lady, whose name I unfortunately did not catch. The service was excellent and the coffee met my expectations. As a former barista maestro at Costa, I hope this feedback reaches the store and the young lady receives the recognition she deserves. All I can remember is that she had dark hair and glasses. Costa advertise a £2.00 breakfast on the board But it is not a £2.00 breakfast You have to purchase the drink separately and the bacon roll is £2.00. This is not advertised on the board The £2.00 is in bold letters and obviously designed to make you feel the breakfast is £2.00 This is a grossly misleading advertisement and should be reported.
I never usually do this, but I’ve always gone to costa verwood to get my morning coffee but something needs to change. Yet again the manager there is useless and rude, he’s always very aggressive towards customers and staff and quite honestly it’s disgusting, I’m embarrassed to see it so I’m going somewhere else.
The staff are lovely at verwood store very hard working and professional however the manager is awful, he is rude, lazy and doesn’t care about the customer. The manager never works at pace when busy gets all the other staff to do all the work and treats staff so badly.
I go to this Costa every day because the coffee is excellent and the staff are very friendly. I visit many Costas for work, and this is one of the better ones. It can get crowded at times, but the wait for a freshly made coffee is worth it. I highly recommend it. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
I used to love Costa for years, but their tea cake has become very expensive and is now the size of a small orange. It's disappointing to feel like I'm being overcharged for something that used to bring me joy.
