I believe that Costa needs to provide additional customer service training to their staff, as they appear to have an attitude issue when it comes to basic service. While the drinks and tray bakes are enjoyable, they are not outstanding, especially considering the high prices. The restaurant is overpriced and overrated, with limited seating available due to college students lingering around not consuming anything. Despite the numerous tables, the servers seem to take too long to clear them, even though there are plenty of staff members working at this small coffee bar.
My 1st time in costa magherafelt. My daughter was treating me. I dont normally do cafe or restaurants as I'm claustrophobic and can get panicked. However this was open and airy and I could look around and not feel closed in.....perfect. my tea was in a proper tea pot and my cup a proper cup and the rocky road pastry was amazing. Staff lovely and nothing was a bother. I'll b back lol xx
Agree with previous review manager on Friday afternoon totally disinterested in customers she needs retraining and the word thankyou and the semblance of a smile never crossed her lips. Afraid this is a recurring unfriendly demeanour unlike Abbey Centre staff who are committed, friendly and very mannerly.... and keep the tables clean! Refurbishment needed!
The restaurant has a problem with schoolchildren loitering in the customer seating area without making any purchases. The staff are unfriendly and could benefit from additional training in customer service. The location is not ideal, as it is situated in a shopping center where passersby often intrude on diners' tables.

Little bit expensive coffee but opposite to it is a little playground where kids can spend time and you can relax with your friend or on your own. Altogether good spot and nice pre-made hot food served there. I recommend. Recently renovated so looks new and resreshed decor as well
I met up with friends at this coffee shop, which was easy to find. The prices for coffee and snacks were a bit high, and we had to wait nearly 10 minutes in line, even though there were only three people ahead of us. Overall, it was a typical experience for a chain coffee shop.
Visited this Costa when in Magherafelt, it was grand enough but it was put down by the fact the staff weren’t that interested in serving people but instead chatting to their friends. The establishment was clean enough on the visit
Costa coffee is the slowest coffee shop in magherafelt .staff not interested in customers at all.Always chatting to each other .the food is sticky buns ect just terrible and coffee so expensive

Always a wonderful cortado! It’s important to stay vigilant and keep an eye on things during the busiest times. The atmosphere is great and the staff is very friendly.
Excellent service from a dedicated professional friendly staff whom I've witnessed on many an occasion going the extra mile to help customers.
