Table booked several weeks ago for 7.30pm on New Tears Eve ….starters did not arrive till after 8.30 pm nor did olives or bread etc … main course arrived after 9.30pm steak stone cold sent back and re-served 9.45 pm and while steak now warm it was now tough and chips cold, sauce cold sent back but by this time gave up up as had other arrangements from 22..00!pm. Son had ordered same and had same issue…. Wife had ordered the duck which was good but inevitably overall New Years experience extremely disappointing…. Waiting staff accommodating and understanding to complaints but service from kitchen not acceptable. That said I suspect real issue issue too many bookings taken and kitchen not able...
What a lovely welcoming family restaurant! The service, menu, food, facilities and atmosphere were all brilliant! We had originally booked Rossini in Wokingham this evening for a small family celebration of a double birthday, father and son, 70 and 36. Suffice to say we had a terrible experience, which I have reviewed separately and we had to leave straight away as they were unable to provide a high chair for our 2 year old, or the vegan menu for one of our party that was clearly on their website. Our son and his wife came from Bristol to take us out to lunch last Saturday for my 85th birthday. We don 't often go out now, so were very pleased with our 'outing '. Everything at COTE was fantastic. A Happy Birthday banner was displayed next to our table, as well as mini Happy Birthday 's all over our table. We all chose fish dishes were were delicious as was our shared plates as starters. The young man who served our table was very amiable especially when he brought us celebratory drinks. Overall a very enjoyable experience and we shall recommend Cote Brasserie when we have the opportunity.
Had a fabulous evening with my family here on Tuesday night. Carlos looked after us and was just amazing from the moment we arrived, so warm and friendly with nothing being too much trouble for him. He made us all laugh with his sense of humour and fun and really made are evening so enjoyable. He was so attentive and ensuring our glasses were never empty. I was particularly impressed with his knowledge of the menu and wines. Ask for Carlos to serve when you, you won't be disappointed! He's an asset your company xx

Restaurant located in centre of Wokingham, with limited street parking. Nice standard Cote french style decor. Not particularly welcoming restaurant Supervisor but when seated service from staff was friendly and very fast/efficient. Breakfast menu very good. Chilli Avocado on toast with poached eggs particularly good as was traditional English breakfast. Good spot in centre of Wokingham for a decent breakfast.
Table personalised with confetti, banners and a card at no extra cost. Waiter Karlos D added hilarity and a fun personalised service to the brunch experience. Amazing time I have never laughed so much and felt so valued as a customer in a restaurant. Lovely...
We had booked cinema tickets and wanted a quick bite to eat. We had not made any reservations, We spoke to a really nice manager we were in a hurry. He took our order and turned it around so quickly. Thankyou so much and was delicious
Great little surprise with Aunt (a regular in the restaurant Calamari and Cheese soufflé to start. Followed by Sea Bream and Poulet frits with garlic infused veg. Then Creps au Chocolat. The personnel were exceptional. Hello Serena :

We came here on Easter Sunday and had amazing food and such wonderful service from Hennessy who was so kind and helpful to us. Really recommend this place, lovely team and the whole experience was wonderful .
