An interesting mixed bag here for me today. Context.... Movable feast... where dozens of people descend on a venue for a starter, or a main, or a desert. Let's start with the service....very good. all of the waiting staff were genuinely interested in making our stay is good. Natalie is awsome... give her a bonus. Soufle for starter. it was OK. not particularly light, volumous or a taste extravaganza. cheeky little pot of sauce was OK. 660ml of Kronenbourg was north of £7 (really no need for that price in Nch) Summary.... I assume the quality was diminished to cater for the larger numbers of customers at one time. But on my experience.... too expensive for the food and beer for the quality. S...
So dissatisfied with the food we got from cote brasserie Norwich today. Ordered boeuf bourguignon, had this before, was happy with the food. This time the food came with no to very little sauce, we asked for more sauce, we got bisto to add to the boeuf bourguignon, so disappointed. We know how to cook boeuf bourguignon with red wine Not bisto. This is not what we expected from a good restaurant. We come here for lunch regularly, won’t be eating there again
Cote has always been a favourite of mine having lived in York and frequently visited the branch there. The Norwich branch doesn’t disappoint, with friendly and attentive staff and great service. The food is great, tasty, well presented and reasonably priced. The Prix Fixe menu is a definite must on weekdays before 7pm; such a bargain! We would definitely recommend!
Very friendly staff, nothing is too much trouble and the breakfasts are excellent. Great variety of options available and the coffee was perfect. Value for money and there are even newspapers available to read. Reminds me of Parisian bistros unassuming, excellent service, relaxing and customer focused.

Late lunch with friends. Absolutely lovely restaurant. Great choice on menu, all sounded delicious. Staff were really welcoming and friendly. Drinks came out fast and the food once ordered was also served quickly and hot. Atmosphere was was relaxed and felt elegant. Thanks for a lovely lunch!
My boyfriend and I booked a table to go there before we went onto the theatre. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and also the red wine was very palatable. Almond Cake was really lovely with raspberries and ice cream. A lovely evening. Definitely be going back soon.
The best thing about Cote is the unparalleled service. The food was good but my steak was a little tough and I had to leave most of it. The waiter asked if it was ok and I told her. When the bill came they deducted that course and the dessert I had. Such good service…we will be returning.
Excellent food, friendly attentive service at a reasonable price. The whole experience recreated eating in any Restaurant in France from Onion Soup, Steak Tartare, Mussels, Minute Steak and an signatiresweets created the perfect French Dining Experience
