Service really attentive bar the water being a bit late and we only noticed that as we were parched. House aperitifs very good; onion soup was fantastic BUT scalding hot at first! Steak tartar starter delicious, as was tuna steak nicoise main; moules (main) were a little small (but then we are spoilt, living by the sea) but the sauce was memorably delicious. Poulet Breton with bearnaise very good . . . Noise level we ate outside, and the bar down the road had some decks on the go out the front. Even though we liked the music, it was intrusive and too loud. Not Cote's issue . . .and we will be going back . . .repeatedly!
The food was excellent, but our outdoor lunch was overshadowed by numerous wasps buzzing around us and our meal. My 84-year-old mother-in-law was quite frightened, especially when the wasps landed on her plate. As a result, we skipped dessert and coffee and decided to leave right away.
3rd time I've been to Cote but something about this time blew me away. Every meal course and drinks choice was exceptional. I never usually bother writing reviews but this time it had to be done! Thank you for an unforgettable meal.

The usual good standard except for the crab avocado starter which previously has been delicious but this time was tasteless didn’t seem to have seen a crab.
We frequently meet friends here for breakfast, which is always great. The atmosphere is lively and upbeat.
