We've been a few times and have always had great food and service. That said, on our last visit a couple of weeks ago our waiter seemed to only want to engage with me and not my partner, even when it was her who was paying. So that was disappointing. Other than this one experience we've loved going to Côte Newbury and will chalk off the one less than stellar experience to a one off and try again another time.
Amazing steak was really well presented and tasted very good. For starter we went with the garlic bread. i would definitely recommend that. The service i was impressed however they did miss-bill us they were very prompt to correct it which was fine. The restaurants atmosphere was quite busy but that's what you expect from a good restaurant! All in all, nice location in Newbury and well suited interior.
First time visiting a Cote restaurant. I've been hankering for French food for a long time. The meals were all reasonably sized, hot, and extremely tasty. Staff were efficient and polite and helped out other fellow patrons to deal with their food intolerances. Prices were very reasonable especially when I consider the prices at other French restaurants. All in all a terrific experience.
Went here for a birthday brunch. Absolutely fab service, fab food and lovely staff. We felt like we weren't even in Newbury whilst we were there Highly recommend the food especially Avocado on Toast, French toast and Eggs Benedict! Everything was delicious, amazing chicken, fries, veg and steak! The other time I went in the other photo about a year ago I had the most delicious hot chocolate and pain au chocolat and the service was amazing, kind staff and the food came quickly, will definitely come again soon
The food was amazing, we chose the valentines menu, to mark the occasion and it did not disappoint. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. It was a nice relaxing vibe inside and was able to find a nice snug table for two. Would return again
Gave it two chances (dinner and the next day brunch) and here what I think: the food is overpriced and the staff is too busy to serve their customers even when the place is almost empty Do not recommend.
Had a brilliant night out with lovely meals and very good service, the steak i had was very well cooked and the triple cooked chips were very good (would recommend), the desert was also very good Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
The place is beautiful and sophisticated. The waiters served us in a gentlemanly manner. The foods-drinks were delicious and we left the restaurant satisfied.
