This tiny restaurant delivers a great meal. Set in a small store front across the bridge from Gien, this is probably the best restaurant in the area.Varied menu with both meats and fish, this restaurant offers all the extra touches worthy of their Michelin star. Aperitifs, two different amuse bouches, fois gras for the entree, rabbit for the plat, cheese, dessert, a nice Sancerre wine and coffee with an extra little dessert came to a reasonable 142.50 euro for two people. It was a real bargain for what we got.We will definitely be back the next time we are in the Gien area.
This newly starred restaurant provides a tasting experience, not vulgar food. The chef incredibly mixes unexpected savors into a delicious dish. Egg/snails/Reblochon cheese or red mullet fish+pineapple may sound awfull or even disgusting. Just taste and you'll give this address to your very best friends. The cheese offer will surprise and delight even the best connoisseur.A ne pas manquer. Et vaut le détour. Que vous soyez à Gien, dans le Loiret ou à 150 kms, cette table vaut le trajet. Les prix y sont extrêmement raisonnables.
This place deserves the highest rating possible. It is within walking distance if you wish to stay in the local camp site but worth traveling to in order to experience food of the highest quality in preparation and presentation. Superb French service (but bring your phrase book if necessary) made the result one of the best meals we have had anywhere. As we have been fortunate to indulge in UK and overseas that means it is good!
We have eaten at Cote Jardin every few years since 1995 and it has always met and often exceeded our expectations. The food is exciting and quite adventurous it deserves a Michelin Star for the quality of its food. The house aperitif changes but has always been well worth having The service is friendly, relaxed and polite. The restaurant is very small so advisable to book.

There are a few restaurants worth visiting in Gien and this place definitely comes top of the list. Great service and atmosphere, delicious and creative tasting menu, good wine list (being on my own I picked from the list of 1/2 bottles available which gave me plenty of options). All made for one of the best meals I had on my trip. Well worth the visit.
Good imaginitive food is this tiny little restaurant just across the bridge from Gien. The mixture of flavours - my pork with parmesan crusted mashed potatoes was lovely and a great selction of local cheeses -served at just the right temperature
We discovered this restaurant by accident in 2017 We travelled from Manchester in 2019 to have a meal here Sort of sums it up This is a fantastic restaurant. The menu au confiance with accompanying wines was superb

Fantastic dishes, services, and contexts! All staff can speak in English and they are so nice. Some of restaurants in Gien have treated foreign visitors somehow in rude manners but they are different!
