We hadn't been to Cote Sud for a while and were delighted to see that it's as good as ever. The food is fresh, well cooked and copious and the staff are cheerful and efficient. Some of the comments in French have been rather negative...and don't reflect the place that we know, perhaps it's because it's August and peak season. The salads are fresh and good-sized portions, the moules frites [different flavours] are freshly cooked and tasty and the moules a la plancha are excellent. The house wine is good value and very drinkable. Try the ice creams, they look lovely and are good value.
Not that many places to eat are open out of season, so we stopped here by chance and had a fantastic lunch. The set menu offered a big fresh salad with greens, tomatoes and mozzarella, then a choice between moules frites and entrecôte frites (we...had one each) and two scoops of ice cream. Washed down with a glass of white wine, we paid only a bit over € for the two of us. Amazing value, excellent food and very friendly service. You can see the med from the table too. Highly recommendable!
We were a very large group of cyclists arriving hot, tired and hungry, the staff were very quick to bring drinks, followed by food. The food, which had been pre-ordered and was served quickly and efficiently and at for a starter, main, pudding and...wine was excellent value and all three courses were delicious ... tomato mozzarella salad, tuna steak and chocolate and pistachio gateau. Definitely worth a vist!
Evening meal as a couple. Good food, despite the limited range of dishes (for vegetarians notably). Waiters seem very stressed, with a boss who fell out with a couple of clients. Received (unpleasant) comments whilst asking for more sauces. Detail, but forgot us, and didn’t...seem to core tbh. Nice setting, bang on centre of the town, with a decent view and good ‘ambiance’.

You get here huge dishes, so you definitely eat one‘s full only with a main course or even with a salad. They don‘t serve everywhere tasty goat cheese, but here you can try it without worries. Mussels with Roquefort sauce sounds unusual in the first...moment, but I advise to taste. I liked also the chips as side dish. Unfortunately this portion is a little bit small.
The prices are good at Cote Sud and it's certainly value for money with quality ingredients. A few people don't seem to appreciate the boss's sense of humour but if you don't speak a lot of French, it isn't a problem. Franck is a...nice man and his wife is lovely. In high season, here might be a bit quieter at midday. We'll be going back.
This modest unassuming restaurant was a great stop-off for lunch offering good food and good value served up with a warm welcome by a very competent and very pleasant staff. Excellent for the occasion. Thank you.
At a head for starter, main, pud and wine, this was really good. I particularly enjoyed the mussels. The service was excellent and the staff very friendly. The food was very tasty and well presented. Bravo.

The special lunch menu did not skimp on quality. No surprise that Coté Sud had the most customers along the seafront. We were also impressed by the anti-Covid precautions.
Nous avons très bien mangé, service assez rapide mais on sent une équipe très peut organisée. C’est dommage. Cependant les plats étaient copieux.
