Originally came here after being turned away from Elderberry Blacks for the second time in 3 weeks. This time at 12:00?! As they had no hot food left... Anyway! We headed to the stables (first visit) We wanted breakfast but they had stopped serving it so we had the 11.99 Sunday lunch instead. Wow! Just wow... From the open fire when you first walk in, to the final bill. Everything was perfect. Pork and Beef were so good. Gravy, Yorkshire's, stuffing, little sausages etc. Portion size was so generous too. Staff absolutely great and lovely homely atmosphere. Would happily pay 14.99 not 11.99. We will 100% return and try the breakfast next.
I can not think of anywhere else I’d rather go for an amazing breakfast. Since first dropping in a few months ago, we have now become regulars, enjoying a regular Sunday morning breakfast! The food is exceptional, amazing big breakfasts , the staff are friendly and welcoming, the cafe it’s self, located next to the stables, has an amazing cozy feel and is stylishly decorated with beautiful handmade wooden works of art. There is even a a little shop selling beautiful hand crafted wooden pieces. I highly recommend visiting
Hugely impressed by the Cottage Farm Stables. Such a hidden gem I couldn't believe the attention to detail on the interior of the restaurant. Fabulous breakfast, superbly cooked and excellent, lean ingredients, crusty bread and a choice of eggs and even tomato's! These guys have really paid attention to delivering an exceptional, hearty meal. with friendly, attentive, but unobtrusive service. We were both very impressed and will definitely be going back regularly! Compliments to the all the team.
Saturday morning breakfast out . Taking 3 x dogs always a challenge. Sadly our pup somewhat embarrassed herself in not reading the page on how to behave when in company . I understand totally that dogs are not everyone’s cup of tea , so I accept complaint and apologies to you , and hope that your morning out, was not ruined too much . Really enjoyed brunch Would visit again Would Recommend Note to self leave pup at home reading up on how to behave when out for food

This cafe is hidden away but is an absolute must. With a horse riding school on the grounds you will forget the city stress. The home made sausages are nice and thick with great espresso with friendly staff it’s a great experience and taste. The owner is an amazing family man who is an absolute Gent. I don’t make many reviews but this was one I had to do. See you soon Simon.
We had to wait 40 minutes for a couple rounds of toast. It wasn't a busy morning, so it seemed like they had forgotten our order. They didn't apologize, and just mentioned that they do orders in the order they are taken. We have been here many times before, but we have never experienced such poor service.
The breakfast was delicious, with well-prepared and tasty sausages! The value was great and the service was good, giving the restaurant a cozy, homely atmosphere. I would definitely come back again.
Recently stumbled upon this charming restaurant and was impressed with their breakfast menu. The only downside was that they were unable to make an oat latte due to using a standard coffee machine.

Lovely reasonable priced place to eat . Great atmosphere at the stables and you will see people riding . The food is always good , the staff are lovely.
