This morning, I went to the bakery to buy four pain au chocolat, a croissant and an apple turnover. The pain au chocolat was delicious, however, I found the apple turnover to be lacking in filling, being mostly dough and quite dry. As for the croissants, they unfortunately tasted rancid. I often frequent this establishment on Sundays early in the afternoon for their pastries, which are generally good. However, it is unfortunate that they seem to share the taste of the pastries next door, as if they had taken on the aroma from the fridge.
