We had dinner reservations which upon arrival we had to wait maybe 10 mins. I guess they were backed up. Only thing I have negative to say which was real disappointing is I feel we were a bit neglected when no one acknowledged my birthday celebration. I would expect a high end restaurant to at least bring forth drinks or desert for the birthday guest... Everywhere else offers guests an accommodating special celebration and try to make it a personal experience. I'm a little bummed out about that I must say. I'll probably celebrate elsewhere now that I know this, next time! Fine dining usually entails this story of thing... Maybe they forgot being busy... But still. The service was alright but...
Council Oak Steak inside the Hard Rock hotel is a solid restaurant with tons of great options on the menu. Be sure you grab a reservation since it was slam packed the whole night while we were there. Luckily, we didn't get in until late, so we were easily able to grab reservations right. before closing. Even those we were sat quite late, our team of servers were still 100% committed to our dining experience and we never felt rushed or disregarded. The bread basket is incredible tons of different options. They are warm and perfectly soft. A solid bread basket really starts the meal off on the right foot. For appetizer, we got the bacon, which was good, but I don't think I would get it again....
While the atmosphere was good abs our server was good, I’ve had many better dining experiences. My asparagus was not clean and was gritty. My wife’s steak was undercooked, sent back and came back undercooked. The manager did come over and take it off the bill but you think at a place known for steak that they could cook a steak. The steak was very natural no seasoning. They did have silver gray bernaisse sauce. Overall pretty disappointed. When I’m spending a few hundred dollars on dinner I have just come to expect better
The restaurant provides excellent service, serving delicate and juicy steaks in a beautiful atmosphere. Despite being located in a casino, the ambiance was enjoyable. The steak was one of the best I've ever had, rich in flavor and tender. I even indulged in dessert this time, trying the tuxedo cheesecake which was delicious. I highly recommend giving them a try, especially for steak lovers. Although on the pricier side, it is definitely worth it.

We had a fantastic meal at this restaurant. Our server, Nicole, was amazing and really made the evening special. The food was delicious, especially the raw bar sampler. We tried the ribeye and the A5, both of which were cooked perfectly. The A5 literally melted in our mouths. The prices were very reasonable, especially when compared to those in Vegas. Thank you for a wonderful evening!
my wife dee, sohn jason, and I wanted to celebrate jason's birthday in a nice restaurant, so we decided to try rat oak steak and seafood. we all had the filet mignon, it was the absolute best steak we had ever eaten. the server, matteus, was on the place, neitated to our everyone, with its great personality and skills as well trained server. we will be absolutely back.
The food at this restaurant was extremely tasty, and the service was outstanding. Our waiter was sincere and extremely supportive; we had a great conversation with him throughout the evening. He even surprised us with a complimentary lobster bisque when our dinner was delayed, as well as a complimentary dessert at the end of the night.
Couldn’t have asked for better food, service or experience. Our party of 8 was celebrating a birthday and the service was outstanding. Everyone was attentive, welcoming and helpful. The food was amazing. Everyone agreed by far the best steaks in Central Florida. We will absolutely be back and definitely recommend as a go-to restaurant.
