Good value, good food, reasonable menu, convenient for the budget hotels next door.I had a pate starter. Mains were magret de canard (duck breast), his was a skewer of duck breast & figs. Both accompanied by frites & haricot verts, both very good.Courte Paille is a chain, so you don't expect haut cuisine. I was a good meal, not spectacular but OK.For us it's a cut above Buffalo Grill which is very Tex/Mex oriented & doesn't take cards.

Courte...Paille is a chain, so they don't expect skin kitchens. I was a good meal, not spectacular, but ok. for us it is a cut over buffalo grill, which is very Tex/Mex oriented, does not take any cards.
I was thrilled by the idea of eating a decent steak in this steak house. they cook with wood, which is interesting. but the portions and the price will make me think again. for the 20-Euro-Steak menu of hungry man I expected more. that the two small steaks at this price. there is a 15% discount when they stay in the local hotels that is a plus, I think.

Super nice home and we ate very well. I recommend the half grilled chicken with grilled sucrines for those who want a "do" meal. We initially planned to go to Buffalo, right next door. But the welcome was deplorable. We went to the house and we'll be back!
