The restaurant was clean and well-maintained. There was a line extending from the door, but it moved quickly. The service was friendly and attentive. The ice cream was delicious, with generous amounts of nuts, fruits, and other toppings in the flavors we tried. The only downside was that both flavors had ice crystals in them, which prevented me from giving it a 5-star rating. My dining companion experienced the same issue with her ice cream.
I have been visiting Coyle's Ice Cream since I was young, but the quality of the ice cream was noticeably different this time. Even my 7-year-old granddaughters noticed. The size of the small cone was much smaller than those at other locations. I was very disappointed, especially since I traveled from Mastic NY for our special treat and ended up paying $15.63 for 3 very small cones.
Hubby and I decided to try this spot on a whim before traveling home after a long summer day at the outlet. Wow. Just amazing. They don't hold back with the toppings, and the ice cream is sooo wholesome and dangerously good. I couldn't finish the wholething and so I put the remainder in the freezer when I got home. I pulled it out the next day and it still tastedA-Mazzzzzz-ing! Lol
The best ice cream ever, and I'm an ice cup. I needed a pickup so my daughter and I stayed at Bay Shore Coyles for lunch. Don't judge. Now and then you have to. To make my day even better, there was a new taste. Snickers! All right, you have to try. I'm glad I did. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
I remember being a little girl having my birthday party here and we got to make our own ice cream cones behind the counter! And sometimes I would get free ice cream because of my last name lol. This place has so many memories for me!
Great ice cream. Plenty of flavors and options. Been going there since the early 80's when it was John's Homemade Ice Cream. They have No Sugar options too.
Staff was extremely kind, ice cream was delicious. Enjoyed our 1st trip there, would go back and recommend.
