Gosh, if you want very slow service, a dog in the kitchen, and the staff telling off the children for colouring in, then this is the place for you! We ordered a large round of drinks at 4.45 and had NT been told they closed at 5 and then weee forced out at 5.04 even insisting one of us had a plastic cup for their drink so we would leave. I knew there was a reason why I haven’t been in here in 5 years despite it being on my doorstep in a wonderful location.
Such a lovely place to eat, visited today 27.8 with family 2 small dogs which was a last minute booking taken with the least hassle I’ve known. Staff were just lovely very attentive. Food came in great time was simply lovely. We will definitely be visiting again the next time we visit family in the area and would recommend to try when you’re there. Vegan tikka curry was beautiful the kids loved their food. The dogs loved all the attention they got.
The Crab and Waltzer is situated in a fantastic location in Whitley Bay and serves the most delicious sausage sandwiches in town! Their three Geordie Bangers in a generously sized stottie are absolutely fantastic. The staff is also incredible, being very helpful and courteous. They truly exemplify the owner's dedication to exceptional service!
The staff was very friendly and helpful, and they are also pet-friendly. The restaurant is clean and well-organized with a good selection on the menu. All the staff were so friendly, helpful and the service was 1st class. The breakfast has to be the best in town. They love dogs. The minute we sat down there was water and a treat for them. It was our 1st time here and it certainly won't be the last.
We went in for coffee here yesterday. The staff member was so friendly and they had a massive choice of hot drinks. We resisted the delicious looking cakes and tray bakes in the cabinet but we will be back to try them! Would definitely recommend.
This restaurant is absolutely fantastic. My daughter got hurt on a ride and the staff went above and beyond to assist her. The prices are great and the atmosphere is amazing. We will definitely be coming back to try the crab!

Popped in for lunch. Absolutely yummy Tai style fish cakes served with tasty mixed salad and chunky chips. Better than any of the more expensive eateries in area. Highly recommend.
