I really enjoy Cracker Barrel—the food is consistently tasty, the shop is lovely to browse while you wait for your table, and the restaurant features an interesting collection of items on the walls. Unfortunately, my last three visits to this location have been marked by poor service. The waitstaff often appear to be in a bad mood, which affects their interactions with customers. During my recent lunch there with my grandparents, our waitress was quite grumpy. She was overly insistent about us ordering alcohol from the start.
I ordered meatloaf, dumplings and pinto beans. Dumplings were hot and meatloaf and beans were cold. I asked for the manager. Waited 7 minutes for her to come to my table. She apologized and brought me another serving. The meatloaf was an end and so hard that I had to use a knife to slice it. After all that we waited in line nearly 15 minutes to pay our bill. 2 registers were open but an apparent new employee wasn't properly trained. The great thing about Cracker Barrel for me is that they are consistent. As you travel about the country, you can be reasonably sure that you will get reasonably good food, good service, and clean facilities at all Cracker Barrel locations. I've been to quite a few of them, and they haven't proven me wrong yet. They make a great travel pit stop.
3 in our party didnt eat their meals because it was cold, bun on burgers were harder than a rock!!! Older lady was rude at the host desk less than half of tables were in dining room were not being used leaving long wait times. Usually we really love cracker barrel!!!

Getting our food 12/28 6pm was slow, some food was cold or luke warm, corn bread andvrools had to be asked for again vafter food arrived. CB is not my favorite anyway but went with friends so didn't want to being up service or temperature of food.
I had bbq chicken tenders. They were cold and hard and no bbq sauce just honey. Pinto beans were cold. Ate two and took rest home and threw in trash this morning. Last time we were there same thing. Shame used to be the place to go.
Service was good. Food was not so good. Could ramble on for two minutes about it, but will just say we will not be going back anytime soon.
Didn't eat just went in and got a few things for Christmas
