I would have loved to give the Service a 5 out of 5 and this is no way directed to our sever as she was a 5 out of 5 but this is directed to the Service up front before you get seated. There was a spot on the floor just to the right of where you check in at that had a sign up saying slippery when wet. Well the floor was dry but in one spot it was very slippery almost as if it was sprayed with armor all and my foot just about slipped out from under me so I waited but no one came to the check in counter. I get curbside take out at the Valrico location at least once a month, if not more often. I'm not quite sure if management has changed or what has happened, but every time I pick up my order my food is cold, and is missing an item. I always arrive a few minutes before the time that I'm told my order will be ready by. I'm not sure if the food is being made ready before that time and then just put in the pickup area, but when I order takeout I don't want to have to go back home to heat it up before eating it. And I'm not quite sure how they can consistently forget items when they are listed right on the order ticket. I know people are human and if it was a one-time thing, I'd understand. It ha...
I could easily stop coming here, but I genuinely enjoy the food. I can’t shake the feeling that this is a store or corporate policy to reduce portion sizes on to-go orders. The reason I say this is that when I dine in, my orders are always accurate! I don’t believe in coincidences. It seems deliberate to shortchange takeout orders, thinking that customers won’t speak up. Well, I’m speaking up now, and I want this to be noted. It’s frustrating that a business would sacrifice consistency just to save a few dollars. Many people would likely stop visiting if this keeps up.
It’s disheartening to write this because I’ve loved coming here for years. It’s sad to see it become a stingy place.
The atmosphere is always pleasant as well. I enjoy spending time with family in the gift shop before and after our meal, browsing through the various candies and sodas they offer. I'm a big soda enthusiast, so I'm always on the lookout for unique craft sodas, and it’s rare to find traditional Gilliam hard candy sticks these days.

I've always had a great experience with meals from Cracker Barrel. The food is delicious, the portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable.
The restaurant and service was great but the fresh berry french toast bake didn’t impress. It looked great but something was lacking.
