Very cool brewery located in the lower level of a large building in Windsor. I'm not too familiar with the Windsor beer scene, but the hipsters seem to love this place! This is one of those places where you have to go to the bar to order, which is fine, and our bartender was attentive and friendly. The menu is on the huge chalk board behind the bar and the prices/sizes of each beer are color coded. I liked the simplicity of their pricing scheme, but hard to tell exactly what I was getting as not all beers were named by style. I only stuck around to try two beers, but both were good. I can't recall the names, but one was a black IPA and the other a Cream Ale. Both beer represented their style...
many years back when i was a younger thinner man this was aardvark blues cafe. i had many many good times here.. to this day it is still one of my favorite bars i ever drank in. i was young and still had some vitality. i miss those days. the sodden reflection of flab and filth i see in the mirror... that can't be me. can it? my bartender was rodney and he was a great guy.the brewery here now is quite nice. it a quiet corner to have a drink away from the flashier bars of the main street. but i miss my blues music bar and i miss my youth
Some friends brought me here while we were in Windsor! The beer here is excellent, we got a couple of beers and got some beers to go. I liked the little labels that they had, and the sours were quite good. I also enjoyed sitting out on their patio and sipping beer with some friends. The location was quite conveniently located in downtown Windsor. I recommend this as a place to drink in Windsor.
Such a fun brewery and the only one downtown. The GM Jessie was amazing! Super friendly, helpful and a great conversationalist. Unfortunately the time we were here they were out of some of the beers I would love to have tried but the ones that were available were out standing. I'll be back to Windsor just to try some of the new beers they brew. And people really, quit stealing their N64 games!
Dumber than dumb. I called for a reservation over 2 weeks prior for 30 people and they had no clue why we were there. Then the guy at the bar was soooooo rude.NEVER RETURNING!!!! They wanted us in and out and told us to leave. Absolutely so upset, this was my birthday and I was excited to have one of our party spots there. Very upsetting. Zero stars.
Awesome spot in Windsor! We came for the day from Detroit and were not disappointed in this first stop of ours. Great staff, plenty of options for beer, and recommendations tasted great. We stayed for a bit to play some board games before heading on to our next stop and we were very content with the atmosphere!
This was a smaller brewery, but they had some excellent beers. Prices were also a bit higher then I would expect, but not by much. They had a tv from the 90s and several different video game consoles to play.
I’ve always had a great experience coming here! The staff are very friendly and helpful. They also have no problem kicking out disturbances.
Excellent beer! Incredibly nice bartender. What a great find for us. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the brewery.
