The noodles were cooked perfectly, and the miso broth in the vegan rich and corny was delicious. All the components came together really well, grilling the tofu and corn made a huge difference in flavour. The cold vegan option (mazemen) was interesting. Kombucha on tap was great, and there is super cheap bear and cider. The decor was great, especially the bar stools which had not only a foot rest, but also a place to stash your stuff.
we love crafty ramen! they have many vegan options that are uniquely identified on the menu, making the order easy. the food is high quality, locally based and packed with taste. their vegan options also seem to expand. a favorit would be the vegan tokyo salary one with delicious marinated sesam tofu. they also have a faithful stamp card for repeat customers!
They make their own noodles and broth, and the flavour is really good! One of the better vegan ramens I’ve had. The place has a cool vibe and the washrooms are spotless! Communal seating and very friendly staff. Clearly labeled vegan items. Staff very knowledgeable on ingredients. I would highly recommend it!
it is a small restaurant, but a cute atmosphere. the vegan options are clearly marked. we're out. it was easy to pour the broth with their noodles, sweet and tofu into the bowl. highly recommended. delicious. they'll get the Brussel sprouts too! you will not regret it.
I had the Vegan Tofu Mapo and it was delicious! They also had the option to add a marinated egg and so I did. Although it said that ramen is very spicy, I preferred if it was spicier. Planning on coming back here soon. Updated from previous review on 2018-05-13
They have a couple of clearly marked vegan options on the menu. I’ve tried them all and they are all delicious! They add a good amount of noodles but if you love noodles like I do, be sure to go for the extra noodle option because their noodles are great!
the appetizers were very tasty: Brussels shoots, edamame, seaweed. ramen nudel also tasted good, but the broth were too salty, especially mapo tofu.
Always a pleasant experience. My go to establishment for a meal with beer. Loveliest owners. Wicked nice staff. Tasty eats.
